WGL & Associates was founded in 1992 to provide micro controller based product design services for OEMs by Warren G. Lohoff. Formerly, Mr. Lohoff was founder and CEO of Agtronics, Inc. Agtronics designed and manufactured electronic irrigation monitoring and control equipment for well known companies like Toro Irrigation, RainCat, Valmont, and many others. Agtronics was sold to independent investors in 1989.

At the beginning of the new millennium WGL once again returned to the design and manufacturing of electronic products. The home automation market was identified as ripe with opportunity.

The first product offered was the all house code transceiver to replace the single house code X10 transceivers. This product was well received and resulted in many suggestions that eventually led to an entire line of home automation products now offered by WGL & Associates.
